About FISP Local Law 11 Inspections

The 1998, New York City implemented the NYC Facade Inspection Safety Program (FISP). This law, formally known as Local Law 11, states that: “In order to maintain a building’s exterior walls and appurtenances thereof in a safe condition, the following additional requirements shall apply to all existing buildings or buildings hereafter erected which are greater than six stories in height.”

To avoid ECB/OATH Violations and to help building owners stay within compliance with their buildings, Retro offers FISP Local Law 11 Inspections as one of its many services. Our company has the proper equipment and team to perform your 5 year inspection for any building over 6 stories high.

Our professional inspectors complete and submit the required inspection technical facade report to the New York City Department of Buildings, as well as provide detailed notes and photographs of areas that need to be addressed.
